Carrying out some research in town the other day, I noticed a very Balmain-esque piece in Primarni. I took it into the changing rooms out of pure interest, wondering how on earth the shoulders would stay up in a slippery, satin/nylon fabric without any shoulder pads...

...the answer was..they don't.
